CR-150-BOX-R5 and CR-150-BOX-R5-HV

The CR-150-BOX-R5 and CR-150-BOX-R5-HV are diecast aluminum housings suitable to hold and electrically shield the CR-150-R5 evaluation board.

The CR-150-BOX-R5 has a BNC connector installed at the 'input' position which can be soldered up to the CR-150-R5 evaluation board by the user. This housing is recommended when the detector bias is 500V bias or less.

The CR-150-BOX-R5-HV is similar to the CR-150-BOX-R5 except that SHV connectors are installed at the 'input' position and 'bias in' positions. This housing is recommended when the detector requires bias over 500V (but less than 2000V).

These housings do not include the CR-150-R5 evaluation board, CSP module, nor the CR-24V wall mounted power supply which can be purchased separately.

CR-150-BOX-D-Sub and CR-150-BOX-D-Sub-HV

The CR-150-BOX-D-Sub and CR-150-BOX-D-Sub-HV are diecast aluminum housings suitable to hold and electrically shield the CR-150-R5 evaluation board.

These housings are similar to the CR-150-BOX-R5 and CR-150-BOX-R5-HV described above except that a 9-pin D-Sub connector has been included on the front panel intended to apply power to the preamplifier circuitry. Nuclear instrumentation often provides power cables in this format and these Cremat housings are intended to allow the user to take advantage of that power source.

Wires are not included. It is recommended that the user solder their own wires from the D-Sub connector to positions on the underside of the CR-150-R5 board. More information can be found here.
